One pound bag of "Apache Tears"; natural
obsidian (Volcanic glass) nodules. These average about 1" in length. This
material makes nice cabochons and collector specimens. These natural
rounded stones have been used by native americans as shamen stones and in
recent years as collector items and gemstones. These nodules are a
natural dark smoky glass, that, when cut look like dark smoky quartz. The
"Tears" are found in Perlite matrix in Superior, Arizona.
