Selenite crystal specimens, Morocco
Hardness 1 to 1-1/2. So
soft you can scratch them with your fingernail. Your fingernail
is about a 3 on the hardness scale. Ray "made"
there here in the shop. He took a large block of selenite,
cut in into 3" lengths and then got his hammer and chisel
out and split the pieces to the size shown. Makes nice size
mineral specimens. A variety of Gypsum.
