2 to 2-1/2. Hydrous phosphate of calcium and uranium, often
with some barium and magnesium.
Beautiful lemon to sulfur-yellow green. Terragonal; usually thin
tubular crystals; also foliated, scaly micaceous aggregates. Rare.
Unusual. Beautiful specimens. The name is after the locality at Autun,
Saone-et-Loire, France. Autunite is an ore of uranium. From Mt. Spokan,
Washington.
Limited Quantity. Nice specimens.
