M562 - This material is a satin spar, a Gypsum rock, but more properly named Fibrous Gypsum (satin spar).

 

Gypsum rock is a sedimentary rock with the mineral gypsum as the main constituent. It is frequently mixed with anhydrite, rock salt, limestone and dolomite.

It occurs with other saline rocks.
