Tiny green peridot crystals on a
basalt matrix. A member of the Olivine
Group. Also called Olivine. Hardness 6-1/2 to 7. Occurs in basic
igneous
and metamorphic rocks. These are found in cavities and basalt "bombs" in
Arizona. Nice specimens.
