Huge 10" X 11" specimen of botryoidal Smithosonite from Mexico. Weighs 14.4 pounds. Not the pretty grayish/bluish color but still a great looking display piece. Smithsonite is a Zinc Carbonate. Smithsonite is a
secondary mineral and occurs chiefly in the oxidized zone of massive hydrothermal replacement deposits.
