M171 - Ema "eggs" are river-tumbled chunks of clear quartz.

These items are found in the Ema River in southern Brazil, thus the name.

Frosty white on the outside, they have polished faces or "windows" showing their clear inside.

In this picture, we see the "window" and look straight through the crystal clear interior and see the other side.

Each specimen has a polished area, or "window", on one side.
