Pretty hexagonal intertwined crystal cluster formations, sometimes called "Sputnik" crystals. Aragonite was named in 1797 for the Spanish city where it was first discovered, Molina de Aragon. Often these crystals have a reddish brown coloration that results from the iron oxide staining from the red clay in which they are found.
In the metaphysical realm, it is said that these crystals relieve stress, anger, aid in preparing to meditate (stilling the mind), problem solving, answers suddenly becoming obvious, patience, practicality, and reliability.
