M1187 - Large Agate / Quartz geode halves from Brazil This piece has beautiful colors of browns, white, yellows. It has a cavity in the center with beautiful quartz crystals. The bottom has been cut to where it makes a great looking display piece. A real showy piece. I guess we can call this piece a geode. It has a fairly large pocket, or cavity in the center. Many rocks have small cavities in which case it would be called a nodule, with a vug. This agate/quarts/geode is 9" wide and 5 1/4" tall. It weighs 7.6 lbs
