A variety of quartz, a rather large family that includes chalcedony, opal, chrysophrase, jasper, flint, quartz crystal, carnelian, sard, sardonyx, onyx, heliotrope, bloodstone, agate, and moss agate. Silicon dioxide. Hardness 7.

This material looks like a moss agate, except instead of being clear and green, this material is white and green. The patters of green/white is like the moss agate.

Quartz is used for many purposes including abrasives and as semi-precious gemstone. These specimens would make great looking cabochons. Unusual. Nice material.
