Citrine - smoky quartz
Great color. Great shape. Citrine is a variety of quartz; hardness 7. Natural citrine is very rare in nature. Nearly all citrine today is either an amethyst or smoky quartz, both varieties of quartz, that have been heat treated. Brazil is the largest producer of Citrine at this time.

Natural Citrine is a quartz that has ferric, or iron oxide, impurities inside, called ferrous.
