Cyrena secures, Bivalve. Class: Pelecypod. Cretaceous age - 100 million years old. The shell opened to take in food. These oysters lived at the bottom of shallow seas. They were active swimmers. These specimens were collected from Utah, an area once covered by shallow seas.
