fossils are believed to be Tabulipora corals that existed from the
Mississippian through Permian.
It is a branching type coral that are usually hollow in the
center.
The corals have fossilized by silicon rich minerals penetrating
the material and hardening into a quartz chalcedony material usually in
botryoidal form inside.
