F1625 -
Mosasaurs were true aquatic
lizards that looked like a mixture of lizard, fish, and alligator
and are thought to have reached lengths of 45 feeth in length.
The Mosasaurs had a tail like a fish, flippers instead
of fins, and a large head full of large sharp rounded teeth.
Like the modern shark and crocodile the Mosasaurs lost
many teeth during its lifetime and when it did grew a replacement
tooth in a very short period of time. They
became extinct during the late Cretacious age. (You definately wouldn’t want to meet one of these bad boys
under water!)
