F1199 - Fossillized small Loxonema gastropods from Mexico.
These graceful snails are usually found with brachiopods, an indication that, like them, Loxonema lived in shallow seas, where it scoured the muddy sea floor for vegetation.

These fossils are found widespread in North and South America.
Age: Ordovician through Mississippian (325 to 500 Million years).
These well formed fossils were found in Chihuahua, Mexico.
