Wood framed kit of marine fossils. From the Phosphate mines in Morocco. There is a number of different species of shark teeth, fish vertebra, stingray mouth plates, and other fossils. All from the Phophate mines. The wording in the descriptions is done using the scientific names for the items. The frame measures 9-7/8" long X 6" high and is about 1-1/2" thick. The kit weighs 1.0 pounds. Limited quantity on this nice kit.

The area on the northern tip of Africa, where Morocco and the Sahara desert now are, used to be under shallow seas. We think this material is late cretaceous age: approximately 60 million years old.
