Utahraptor Foot Claw Replica

FR170 - This is a reconstruction of the foot claw (pes claw) fossil as it would have appeared in life with the keratin sheath.

Utahraptor, like Velociraptor and Deinonychus, belongs to the family of dinosaurs known as dromaeosaurs, growing as large as 7 to 9 feet tall, and 16 to 18 feet long.

This animal was especially remarkable for its unusually large hand claws and its single, giant sickle claw on each foot. Some scientists think that Utahraptor and other dromaeosaurs may have hunted in small packs.

This fossil replica was hand cast and colored by Gaston Design.

"A portion of cast sales goes to those institutions that uncover, house and study the original fossils, a valuable, non-renewable resource."

Specimen Card included.

A great gift for anyone interested in Dinosaurs!
